Success, MO. – A motorcycle operator from Houston, MO. was seriously injured after he wrecked on the night of Wednesday, March the 6th.
According to the crash report from Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place on Missouri 17, about 5 miles north of Success, MO.
David Simmons, 61, was operating a BMW K1600 model motorcycle while moving southbound. At 8:45pm, Simmons struck a deer, which caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle.
Simmons sustained serious injuries, and was taken by air ambulance services to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
Investigation on this crash was performed by Trooper N.B. Poynter, and assistance was provided by Corporal S.J. Crewse and the Roby Fire Department.
