Ricky A. Maggard, a resident of Willow Springs, unexpectedly passed away early Monday morning, March 11, 2024, in Willow Springs, MO. He was born to Ricky Len and Ashley Marie Maggard on April 11, 2004, in Springfield, MO; and was 19 years old.
Ricky was the most kind and soft-hearted young man. He had the most beautiful soul you would ever meet. He was selfless and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed playing D&D and video games with his family & best friends a.k.a. “The Fellas” and his cat Dorito. He especially loved jamming out to Pearl Jam and making silly videos and songs. He loved to make people laugh. He was truly one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Rick and Ashley Maggard; his brother, Jacob Maggard; his sisters, Lilly and Abby Maggard; his grandparents, Roger Maggard, Sonja Wages and Rodney “Skip” Murphy, and Kathy Murphy. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held for Ricky at the Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs, Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Funeral services will take place at the Westside Family Life Center, Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11 AM with Pastor David Lovan officiating.
