Kenneth Eugene Grandstaff

Kenneth Eugene Grandstaff was born June 2, 1949, in Morton, Washington to Merle and Frances (Johnson) Grandstaff. He departed this life on May 31, 2024, in Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 74.

He and his family moved to Birch Tree, Missouri in 1950. He resided with his family at the family farm there. Later, he lived in the St. Louis area and Oklahoma City, making his home with his widowed mother.

He traveled extensively, seeing several country music stars and having many adventures. After his mother’s death, he moved to Hilltop Haven in Eminence, Missouri, to live where he made many steadfast friends.

Kenneth loved country music, loved to sing, going to church, riding his bike alone or with friends, going out to eat, and fishing and he loved his family and visiting with them.

He loved the Lord and knew he would see and enjoy Heaven one day.

He leaves behind his sister, Linda Barnes, and husband Gary of Birch Tree, MO; brother, Gerald Grandstaff of Chicota, OK; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Frances Grandstaff; sisters, Lola Sims and Reva Miley; brother, Jim Granstaff; nephews, Danny Grandstaff and Greg Emeterio; and uncle, Oran Grandstaff.

Kenneth was a sweet and loving guy and will be missed by so many who loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Berea Mennonite Cemetery, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Darrell Jones officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
