SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Five Evangel Valor baseball athletes were honored on Tuesday (June 4) by being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the 2024 season.
Seniors Colby Vavruska, Jeremy Vickers, and Isaac Miller were joined by junior Eli Cook and sophomore Isaac Daley in earning the honor.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
These athletes had to meet several requirements to garner the honor, including performing in 66 percent of team matches (or 25 or more innings pitched), having a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and being a key participant who had significant statistics that helped the team throughout the season.
