Some of the key points he hits in the interview are as follows:

  • One of his top priorities is having a child’s education up to the parent of that child and not up to the state or the school.
  • Another priority is to make the veteran’s life better. Giving them everything they deserve when they come back, including better care, better job opportunities, as well as give them better pay.
  • He plans on getting rid of Missouri’s income tax and take away some of the government’s budget to make up for the lost income tax.
  • He wants to get 1,000 new police officers out on the streets within the first year.

Some quotes that Jay Ashcroft claims to live by:

” Politicians fix the blame, Engineers fix the problem.”

” There is no end to the good you can do if you’re not worried about who gets the credit.”
