Patsy McCrite

Patsy Virginia McCrite, daughter of Ross Eugene Waller and Aumilda Loree (Riddlespurger) Waller, was born February 15, 1946, in Hinton, Oklahoma, and departed this life July 8, 2024, at Glenwood Healthcare Center in Seymour, Missouri, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

 On June 9, 1962, she was united in marriage to Norman McCrite and to this union two sons were born.

 She was preceded in death by her parents.

 Patsy is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Norman; sons, Bruce McCrite and wife, Connie, of Springfield, Missouri, and Eric McCrite of Mansfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Erin Black and husband, Justin, Emily McCrite, Connor McCrite, Cameron McCrite, Makenzie McCrite, Christian McCrite and wife, Lauren, and Zachary McCrite; great-grandchildren, C.C. Black, Rosie Black, and Anya Black; sister, Sharon McIntosh and husband, Don, of Mustang, Oklahoma; brother, Kenneth Waller and wife, Carolyn, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 She was born in Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Cuba, Missouri. After Patsy and Norman started their family, she worked as a teacher’s aide in the Mansfield School District. She worked many years in Mansfield and Ava with Posey’s Building Center and finished her working career establishing the 4-Star Building Center in the Seymour community.

 Patsy was very strong in her faith. She instilled and exampled her belief in God to those around her, especially her family. Patsy was known for her fun-loving personality and passionately living her life for others. Passionate about all she did! Invested her life in others! Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and have many fond memories that we will always cherish.
