Diana Berry was born July 3, 1948 at Gideon, Missouri to Dorothy (Frazier) Carter and William Wren. She passed away July 26, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 76.
Diana was united in marriage to Dewight Eugene Berry on March 1, 1968 and to their union 5 children were born: Dewight Eugene Berry II, Amy Diana Berry, Christopher Eugene Berry, Sarah Rebekah Berry and Hope Elizabeth Berry.
Diana grew up in Portageville, Missouri. She graduated from Portageville High School. She worked for a short time as a secretary for a dentist. Shortly thereafter she met Dewight Berry and spent her life raising her kids and grandkids.
She spent her life devoted to her kids and husband. She took interest in any activities that involved her children. She enjoyed taking great care of herself and family. She was a very intelligent woman who would do anything for her kids.
She was preceded in death by one child: Dewight Eugene Berry II; her mother: Dorothy Carter; stepdad: Aubrey Carter; her biological father: William Wren; uncle: Bob Frazier; and maternal grandmother: “Grandma Frazier”- Mary Sue Frazier.
Diana is survived by her husband of 56 years: Dewight Berry; daughter: Amy Winters; son: Christopher Berry; daughter: Sarah Berry; daughter: Hope Berry; granddaughters: Brooke Berry, Madison Holden, Marissa Acklin, Hannah and Emma Winters; grandsons: Logan Berry, Ben and Aaron Winters; grandson-in-law: James Ditto; sisters; Sherry Kay Wren and Mary Lynn Rone.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
