Martin “Marty” Lee Frailey

Martin Lee Frailey, 54 years, 1 month, and 8 days old, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO with family by his side.

Marty was born July 2, 1970, in Denver, CO, to Jim Franklin and Jean Louise(Droel) Frailey.

Marty grew up in Sedalia, CO. He started working in the roofing business with his brother, Randy, then later on he acquired his CDL and worked driving cement trucks. After marrying and moving to Sayre, OK, he graduated to driving semi trucks in the oil field industry.

In 1999, Marty and Deahonna Meidinger were united in marriage in Denver, CO. While he had no children of his own, he was blessed with two step sons, David and Dillon.

Marty enjoyed hunting, fishing, video games, muscle cars, and big rigs. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, four-wheeling, and fun times and relaxing with friends and family.

After Marty lost his wife, his health started to fail and the decision was made to move closer to his family in the Ava, MO area.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Jim; and his wife, Deahonna.

Marty is survived by his mother, Jean Frailey; his two step sons and their partner and spouse, David Meidinger and Steven Boykin, and Dillon Meidinger and Lacy; his three grandchildren, Raylee, Kayden and Alex Meidinger; his three sisters and their husbands, Sandra Fox, Susan Hanley and Chris, Christi Torrence and Travis; brother and wife, Randall Frailey and Angela; other extended family and friends.

Memorial services for Marty will be at 11:00 AM on August 26, 2024. Family requests memorial donations to be made to donor’s choice of charity
