Howell, Wright Counties. – The University of Missouri Extension offices in Howell and Wright Counties will be holding another workshop soon, meant to give those involved in livestock production a chance to learn more about winter preparation.
This free workshop will be put on by Chloe Collins, the MU Extension Dairy Specialist, and Elizabeth Picking, the MU Extension Livestock Specialist. They will focus on how best to evaluate hay quality and nutritional needs for your herd, and how to develop a feeding program that will work for their needs.
These workshops will happen at Mountain Grove on September 26th at 4:30pm, and in West Plains on October 1st at the same time of day.
