The West Plains Zizzers took on the Bolivar Liberators tonight, Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Zizzer football field.
The game starts off strong with Bolivar jumping on top with the first touch down of the game. They scored 7 points of a 46-yard touchdown pass down the right side of the field. After some struggle over the ball, the Liberators make another touchdown, starting the game off with a significant gap in the scores. Quarter 1 ends with a score of 14 to 0, Bolivar in the lead.
The whole first half of the game is the Zizzers trying to make their first score of the game. The entire second quarter runs through with no touchdowns from either team. At last second, Zizzers go for a 26-yard kick, giving them 3 points to end the first half of the game. The first half game score has the Liberators winning 14 to 3.
West Plains and Bolivar make little progress in the points department in the 3rd quarter with neither team making any touchdowns. The 3rd quarter ends with the same score as the game had at half time, Bolivar winning 14 to 3.
To start off the 4th quarter, the game finally gets another touchdown. The Bolivar Liberators make a touchdown within the first 4 minutes of the quarter, bringing the game to 20 to 3. The rest of the game runs as a fight for the ball between the two teams, leaving no more touchdowns. The Zizzers loose to Bolivar 20 to 3.
