A West Plains man was seriously injured in a traffic crash on South U.S. Highway 63, 1 mile south of West Plains. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that 44-year-old Daniel W. Lawless was seriously injured after failing to yield to an oncoming vehicle driven by 23-year-old Amelia J. Osmun. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
