On Friday night the Liberty Eagles traveled to Dent County to face the 1-6 Salem Tigers. Liberty got out of the gates quickly with 2 play drive to open up the scoring and never looked back taking a 45-0 lead into the locker room at the half. The Eagles then added three more scores in the second half to win 65-0. Gavin Reese threw for 299 yards and 5 touchdowns, Parker Tune had 7 catches for 207 yards receiving and scored 5 total touchdowns. Liberty looks to continue on the path to a share of the SCA title and to move up in the district standings with a trip to face the Houston Tigers on Friday night.
