Last night class 1 district 7 volleyball from Eminence got under way with and team advancing Couch defeated Bakersfield 3-1 and will now face #1 seed Winona Thursday at 6pm. Eminence beat Koshkonong 3-0 and Summersville topped Dora 3-0, Eminence vs Summersville Thursday at 715 in the semifinals of district 7 class 1. In class 2 district 9 Fordland over Seymour 3-0 and Thayer over Gainesville 3-0 last night. Semifinal match ups for Thursday night Cabool vs Fordland at 5pm and Liberty vs Thayer at 7pm games are played at Fordland. Class 3 district 11 Houston and Forsyth had a battle last night but Houston gets the win 3-2 and Willow Springs tops Ava 3-0 semifinals for Thursday Mountain Grove vs Houston at 5pm and Hollister vs Willow Springs at 6pm games are being played at Houston. Class 4 district 1 West Plains over North County 3-0 West Plains plays Hillsboro Saturday at 1pm game will be played at Farminton.
Week 9 high school football for area teams. Liberty at Houston game will air on The Fox 969 only and be live video streamed. Willow Springs at Ava game will air on KUKU 100.3, West Plains host Carl Junction game will air on KDY 102.5 and be live video streamed, Thayer host Mountain Grove, and Cabool at Salem.
The Missouri Tigers will be at Tuscaloosa Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide Saturday pregame at 1230 kick off at 230 all on Q94.
The JV Zizzer Volleyball team competed in the Liberty Volleyball Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19. Zizzer Volleyball defeated Liberty Volleyball and was named Tournament Champions!
