On Friday night three area teams competed in the Arkansas State Quarterfinals in football and two of the three move on.
Mountain Home traveled to Little Rock to face the Catholic Rockets in War Memorial Stadium and dominated the whole game winning 42-14. The Bombers will travel to Arkansas powerhouse Greenwood next Friday night with a trip to compete for a State Championship on the line.
The Salem Greyhounds hosted Prescott on Friday, a team that beat them early in the season. The Greyhounds get the victory this time by the score of 16-10. They will be home against Rivercrest next Friday night in the State Semi-Finals.
The Highland Rebels season came to an end last night as they fell to Malvern 34-7 finishing their season with a 9-2 record.
