Zizzer Stadium Thursday. Thanksgiving Morning St Jude Re-Run Turkey Trot. All finishers will receive a long sleeve event tee and a new repurposed medal from another event. These medals will have St Jude ReRun stickers on the back. ALL FUNDS will be donated to St Jude’s. The event will be timed. There will not be age division or overall winners. Come walk, run, or jog 1 mile or a 5K with us to get your day started off right and help raise money for St Jude’s. Cost is $20. Register the morning of the event. Registration starts at 6:30 AM.
The Mountain home Bombers are still rolling in the Arkansas high school football playoffs. one more win sends the Bombers to the Ark State Championship game in class 6, but they have a strong match up with Greenwood on Friday good luck Bombers! Also, still alive in the Ark high school playoffs is the Salem Grey Hounds they will face Rivercrest Friday in Class 3 with a win on Friday the Salem Grey Hounds will make a trip to the class 3 semifinals.
The West Plains Zizzer Boys Basketball team will be holding a Toy Drive, benefiting the Bridges Program on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The Zizzers will host the Mountain Home Bombers (JV at at 5 p.m and the varsity game will follow. Attendees will receive free admission with the donation of a new toy.
The Mizzou Tigers return home Saturday, to close out the regular football season with the annual Battle Line Rivalry against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Game time at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri, pregame at 1230 kick off will be 2:30 p.m. catch it all on Q94 and the game will be televised on the SEC Network.
