Marion County Sheriff’s Office Reports Findings Of Death Investigation

 

Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that on 1/29/2024 at approximately 1:26P, the Marion County 911 (E911) Center received a 911 call in reference to a welfare check. Deputies and Investigators responded to the scene and located the body of a male in his bed. According to information obtained from the caller who came to check on him, he had not heard from him in a few weeks and called 911 when he could not get anyone to come to the door. Sheriff Alexander stated Investigators processed the scene and believed there was no foul play associated with the death, and that the victim died from medical issues. The victim was identified as MICKEY L. WAGONER, 70 YOA, of Flippin. The Marion County Coroner’s Office pronounced the time of death at 2:55P.
