Mansfield, MO. – Just yesterday, March 12th, Nick Owens, a 60 year-old man from Sparta, Missouri was convicted of 2nd Degree Murder in a Phelps County court.
This conviction is in relation to the 2022 death of Mansfield resident Zachary Owens.

Official sentencing will take place in April of this year, pending the completion of a sentencing assessment. Jedge Begers of the 25th Judicial Circuit will be issuing the sentence.
