A Willow Springs man was moderately injured Sunday afternoon in a single‑vehicle crash six miles north of town, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the crash happened at 12:01 p.m. on May 24 as a westbound 2006 Ford Ranger traveled off the right side of Highway HH. The driver, a 22‑year‑old man from Willow Springs, overcorrected, causing the truck to cross the roadway, leave the left side and strike a tree. The vehicle was totaled and later towed by a private party.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View.
