A rear‑end crash on Highway 60 injured four people Tuesday morning east of Mountain View. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 7:58 a.m., two miles east of town. Troopers report a westbound 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by a 38‑year‑old Eminence woman struck the back of a 2018 Toyota Camry, also westbound and driven by a 38‑year‑old Mountain View man.
The Camry’s driver and two boys, ages 5 and 9, all suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Mercy St. Francis Hospital. The Corolla driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, also received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Both vehicles had moderate damage.
