The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing three of its own after they graduated from the Drury University Law Enforcement Academy in Springfield. The academy held its formal ceremony on May 7, 2025, honoring a new class of officers completing months of rigorous training. Representing Howell County were Deputy Frank Nesbitt, Deputy Gary Johnson, and Deputy‑to‑be Emma Roberts.
Sheriff Matt Roberts says their dedication and leadership at the academy reflect the positive impact they will have on the community as they begin their careers. The Sheriff’s Office congratulates all academy graduates and thanks Drury’s staff and instructors for preparing the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
