A 17‑year‑old driver from Mountain View was injured in a single‑vehicle crash Sunday evening on Missouri 174, eight miles west of Republic.
The Highway Patrol says the westbound 2001 Ford Expedition attempted to pass another vehicle, left the roadway and struck an embankment. The juvenile driver and a 45‑year‑old male passenger, both unrestrained, were transported by EMS to Cox South with minor and moderate injuries.
