NFL Trades

In a blockbuster NFL move, Myles Garrett is being traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are sending pass rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round draft pick, and additional draft picks to Cleveland in return.

Garrett, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, is coming off a record-setting 23-sack season and is widely considered one of the league’s best defensive players. He reportedly waived his no-trade clause to make the deal happen.

For the Rams, it’s another aggressive “win-now” move as they try to position themselves for a Super Bowl run. For the Browns, the deal brings back a young star in Verse plus valuable draft capital to help reshape the franchise.

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded star wide receiver A. J. Brown to the New England Patriots in a blockbuster deal.

Philadelphia will receive a 2028 first-round draft pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick from New England. The move reunites Brown with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, who coached him earlier in his career with the Tennessee Titans.

Brown spent four seasons with the Eagles, helping them win a Super Bowl and earning multiple Pro Bowl selections. He topped 1,000 receiving yards in each of those seasons and leaves as one of the franchise’s most productive receivers.

For the Patriots, the trade gives young quarterback Drake Maye a true No. 1 receiver. For the Eagles, it frees up salary-cap space and adds valuable draft picks as they continue to reshape their roster.
