West Plains, MO. – If you see a strong law enforcement presence today around the West Plains High School, don’t worry; this is all a part of a scheduled training exercise.
This announcement comes from officials with the West Plains R-VII School District, who say that this will happen from 9am to 1pm. This will include multiple emergency management agencies taking part in the exercise.

This training is done to help prepare individuals in all areas of emergency responses for the possibility of any emergency situations throughout the year.
Officials go on to state that they appreciate support from the public while training is underway.
