Thayer Police arrested a California man, Caleb James Perez after a traffic stop in Thayer led to the discovery of multiple controlled substances.
Sgt. Stephen Bryant reports he stopped the vehicle on June 10 for speeding and detected a strong odor of marijuana. After receiving consent to search, officers located several bags containing cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, Xanax bars, MDMA pellets, rock‑like substances, and a sheet of LSD.

Perez allegedly claimed ownership of all items and was taken into custody his bond was set at $25,000.
