A Cabool man suffered minor injuries early Monday after his semi overturned on Highway 76, eight miles west of Willow Springs. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 2001 Peterbilt was rounding a left‑hand curve when it overturned, went off the right side of the roadway and bridge, and came to rest in Indian Creek.
The driver, a 49‑year‑old man, was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle for treatment. The truck sustained total damage and was removed by Midway Towing.
Sgt. A.D. Johnson, Trooper W.R. Wylie, MoDOT, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, and Eastern Douglas County Fire assisted at the scene.
