Marion County Sheriff’s office reports 95 calls for service during week ending June 19

MARION COUNTY, Ark. — Deputies responded to 95 calls for service during the week ending June 19, according to the sheriff’s office.

Of those calls, deputies responded to two domestic disturbances and completed eight wellbeing checks. The office reported two misdemeanor arrests and seven felony arrests during the week.

Deputies also assisted with or worked three accidents and completed 31 incident reports. The office reported eight bailiff hours for the week.

Criminal Investigation Division investigators opened seven felony investigations, closed four felony investigations and arrested three people on felony charges. Investigators also conducted two death investigations, five interviews and 25 investigative conferences.

During the same reporting period, investigators executed one search warrant, conducted five crime scene searches, processed 47 evidence items and recorded 83 total hours of report preparation.

The detention center booked 19 inmates, released 16 inmates and ended the week with a total of 65 inmates.
