A Missouri Lottery player was taken by surprise when she uncovered a $50,000 prize on the “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket she purchased at VIP C Store, 1111 Porter Wagoner Blvd., in West Plains.
The winner shared the more spots she uncovered, the larger her prize grew.
“I couldn’t believe it. I was so surprised!” she giggled. “I just picked this one and won!”
“$250 Million Extravaganza” players have won more than $89.7 million in prizes since the $50 game was released. Currently, there are two top prizes of $5 million, two second-tier prizes of $1 million and 33 additional $50,000 prizes still unclaimed.
During FY25 players in Howell County won more than $7.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $645,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $459,000 in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
