A two‑vehicle crash on US 160 west of Gainesville sent one driver to the hospital Wednesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at 4 PM when a westbound 2016 Jeep Wrangler crossed the centerline and hit an eastbound 2010 Ford Fusion.
The Fusion’s driver, a 57‑year‑old woman from Nixa, suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Baxter County Hospital in Mountain Home. The Jeep’s driver, a 52‑year‑old man from Cedar Creek Township, Arkansas, was not reported injured. The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
