B.A.C.A. Event Set for July 25 in West Plains

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is highlighting an upcoming community event featuring the SHOTO Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse. Members will be at Arby’s on Southern Hills in West Plains this Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to share information about their mission of supporting abused children across Ozark, Douglas, Howell, Texas, Oregon, Shannon, and Dent counties.

Organizers say the group provides a steady support system to help children feel safe and empowered as they recover from abuse. Visitors can meet chapter members, learn how the organization works, and take part in the day’s activities — including a display that is expected to feature live alligators.
