A 16‑year‑old West Plains boy was seriously injured early Friday in a single‑vehicle crash on County Road 6070, about a half‑mile west of West Plains. The Highway Patrol says the southbound 2012 Chevrolet Traverse crossed the center of the roadway and struck the end of a bridge around 6:25 a.m.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
