Baxter County Arrest Made in Relation to Shooting Incident

Mountain Home, AR. – A Baxter County man was recently arrested after a shooting incident early in the morning of Thursday, July 30th.

The Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says that this took place after a call was received at around 2:13am that morning regarding a shooting at 126 Baxter County Road 712.

A nearby deputy responded and found a man bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound before administering first aid. The victim identified Nathan Foster, 32, as the shooter. Foster was found at his residence and was taken into custody on an arrest charge of 1st Degree Battery.

The victim was last reported to be in stable condition.
