Lieutenant Cody C. Frame Promoted To Captain

Colonel Michael A. Turner, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the promotion of Lieutenant Cody C. Frame, effective August 1, 2026. Lt. Frame has been promoted to captain and serves as the director of the Training Division.

Frame was appointed to the Patrol on January 3, 2011, as a member of the 93rd Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop F, Zone 8, Callaway County. On December 1, 2019, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor of Troop F, Zone 15, Callaway County. Frame was promoted to sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 8 on June 1, 2022. In March of 2023, he transferred to a troop support role where he served as the Troop F training officer. Frame was promoted to lieutenant on July 1, 2024, and was designated as an assistant director of the Training Division.

Captain Frame was born in Hannibal, MO. In 2006, he graduated from Hannibal High School. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in mathematics, from the University of Missouri, and an associate degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area Community College. Capt. Frame is married to Amber (Buescher).
