MVBT’s annual Back-to-School Kick-Off is back for its fifth year, bringing together one of the district’s largest community turnouts to welcome students into the 2026–2027 school year. The celebration will take place August 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Liberty Football Field, where staff, board members, local businesses, churches, agencies, and volunteers will line the track to greet families as they arrive.
Families attending the kickoff can meet teachers, pick up calendar magnets, and enjoy giveaways and activities throughout the evening. Organizers hope every student and family will join the celebration, reconnect with the community, and start the new school year with excitement and encouragement.
