Graveside Services for Melvin Dale Millard, Age 87 of Birch Tree, Missouri will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2026 in The Oak Forest Cemetery, Birch Tree, Missouri, beginning at 3:00 PM.
Melvin Dale Millard, son of Luther Millard and Edna Peterson Millard, was born on December 24, 1938, in Morgan, Missouri. He grew up in Lebanon, Missouri, and Minnesota, building a life filled with hard work, family, and many adventures. Melvin worked many different jobs throughout his life, but his greatest love was truck driving, a career that allowed him to stay on the go and see different places along the way.
Melvin passed away in Mountain View, Missouri, on August 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Melvin is survived by his wife and numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they made with him. Melvin enjoyed many things in life, especially fishing, hunting, and traveling. He loved being on the go, watching Fox News, and spending time with friends over a cup of coffee at McDonald’s. He enjoyed staying busy and never seemed to want to sit still for long.
Melvin will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his 87 years.
