A Licking man sustained minor injuries Wednesday night after his pickup left the roadway and crashed along Highway BB, approximately five miles southwest of Licking. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m.
Troopers say the westbound 2008 Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the left side of the roadway, went down a ditch, struck an embankment, and came to rest. The driver, a 51‑year‑old man from Licking, was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.

He was transported by Texas County EMS to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He is also facing charges of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, carless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash and no seatbelt.
