A Celebration of Life for Bryan Eugene Russell, Age 65 of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2026 at The Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel, Highland, Arkansas, beginning at 2:00 PM.

Bryan Eugene Russell, 65, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, entered eternal Heavenly rest September 7, 2026 at Lake Norfork in Gamaliel, Arkansas. He was born June 6, 1961 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Bill and Jean Russell; both preceded him in death.
Surviving Bryan are his wife, Patricia “Tricia” Jenkins Russell; their daughter, Nikki Russell, and grandchildren, Isla and Miles West of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Bryan considered his greatest accomplishments as being a loving husband, adoring father, and Pop Pop. He is also survived by his father’s wife, Maxine Melton Russell of Hardy, Arkansas; her son, Allan Baldridge of Batesville, Arkansas; her daughter, Jamie Bratcher (Stacy) of Hardy; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bryan’s family also includes a multitude of surviving aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and close friends who were all very dear to his heart.
A graduate of Highland High School and then Arkansas State University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, Bryan earned degrees in education and administration. He began his working career at Riceland Foods in Jonesboro before moving into public school education, where he served as teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He worked in the Jonesboro, Viola, and Valley View school districts, last serving as superintendent of Valley View Schools for nine years. Bryan positively impacted the lives of countless students, teachers, administrators, and staff in the educational roles that he loved and where he excelled for over 32 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman with a particular love for hunting, fishing, boating, and enjoying time in the woods and on the water, where he spent so much precious time with friends and family. He felt closest to God on a frosty morning while sitting alone in a deer stand in the stillness of a beautiful forest.
