Ava, MO. – Tomorrow in Ava, VFW Post 5993 on the northwest corner of the Ava Square will be hosting a pie auction meant to fund one of the VFW organizations biggest modern projects.
This goes towards the “Bring Them Home” project, which aims to support the DPAA (Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency) in their misssion to recover, identify, and repatriate the remains of American service members still listed as MIA or prisoners of war from past conflicts the US took part in.
