A 21‑year‑old Ellsinore woman was moderately injured in a crash Monday evening on Missouri Route A, one mile east of Ellsinore. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says her westbound 2014 Ford Edge crossed the center of the roadway and struck an eastbound 2023 Dodge Ram.
The Ford was totaled and towed from the scene. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries and was flown to St. Francis Hospital. The 25‑year‑old Ellsinore man driving the Dodge Ram was not reported injured and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene, though the trailer he was towing was removed by a tow service.
