MAMMOTH SPRING, Ark. — The Mammoth Spring National Fish Hatchery will host its first‑ever Veteran Fishing Derby on Wednesday, November 18, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is free for participating veterans, with lunch provided at the hatchery’s visitor center. Organizers say the derby is designed as a community appreciation event, offering a relaxed morning of fishing and fellowship for those who have served.
