Bruner, MO. – An Ava resident was reported to have been seriously injured as a result of crashing on Highway 14 in Christian County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D state that this took place at 11:45am 2 miles east of Bruner, MO. A 49-year-old Ava woman was driving a Ford F250 when she failed to negotiate a curve. She then overcorrected, which led to her travelling off the left side of the roadway and striking a fence.

The driver is said to not have been wearing a safety device, and suffering serious injuries. This led to her transport via air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for further treatment.
