On November 4, 2026, Deputy Shane Harden took a report of domestic assault that had occurred on November 3, 2206. The case was worked jointly by Sgt. Box and Deputy Harley.
After the investigation, a warrant was issued for Lloyd Rideeoutte Jr. for the following criminal offenses –Domestic assault 1st, Domestic Assault 2nd, Domestic Assault 1st with Serious Physical Injury, Tampering with a witness in felony prosecution and harassment 1st degree.
Due to Rideeoutte’s violent past criminal history and the fact that Rideeoutte was arrested on October 25, 2026, on two counts of Failure to register as a sex offender and was released on his own recognizance on October 26, 2026, to CPS, NO BOND was granted on this new warrant.
Sheriff Degase commends the Deputies involved for their work and effort. This is Rideeoutte’s 4th arrest since September of 2026. “It is very frustrating for these Deputies to continue to deal with the same 2% of the population in Douglas County. I commended the effort and tenacity of my staff to ensure the Citizens of Douglas County are protected.”
