Marion County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Report

Marion County, Arkansas – For the week ending 1/10, Deputies responded to sixty-one (61) calls for service. Of those, Deputies provided nine (9) wellness checks and two (2) domestic disturbances. There were three (3) misdemeanor arrests made this week, and there were no felony arrests. Deputies assisted and/or worked six (6) accidents and completed eight ( 8 ) incident reports. Deputies served eleven (11) hours as court bailiffs this week.
 
Investigators opened two (2) felony and two (2) death investigations. Twenty-four (24) interviews were conducted regarding background checks and ongoing cases, and four (4) investigative conferences with the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney were also completed.
 
The Detention Center booked eleven (11) inmates, released eight ( 8 ), and ended the week with a total of forty-two (42) inmates. On Tuesday of this week, six (6) Detention Officers completed the evaluation portion of the fifty-six (56) hour Jail Standards certification through CLEST (Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training).
