Stone County, MO — The Stone County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating several individuals currently listed as “Most Wanted.” With available bed space at the detention center, the department is actively working to bring these individuals into custody.
“If you know the location of any of these wanted individuals, please call 911 or contact the Stone County Sheriff’s Office,” the department stated. “Your help is crucial in ensuring the safety of our community.”
In an effort to encourage cooperation, the Sheriff’s Office also issued a lighthearted message to those featured on the list: “If you see your picture here, please come turn yourself in. If you need a ride, we would be happy to give you one — in the backseat of our patrol vehicle!”
The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all individuals listed are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Anyone with information is urged to act quickly. Working together, Stone County can continue to be a safe and secure place for all its residents.
