Yellville, AR – April 11, 2025 – At approximately 1:30 p.m., two students were reported missing from Yellville-Summit Middle School, prompting a swift response.
The missing children, Lowan Collins and Jesse Phillips, both 11 years old, were last seen on school grounds. Collins was described as wearing a dark blue or black shirt, a blue jacket, and glasses. Phillips was reportedly wearing a blue t-shirt and light gray or khaki pants at the time of his disappearance.
Following several hours of search efforts by community members and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, both boys were located safe at approximately 5:08 p.m. The Missing Child Bulletins were officially canceled shortly after.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details regarding the circumstances of their disappearance but confirmed that both boys are now home and safe.
