Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is the lovely Josie!
Josie is currently searching for her forever home through Mountain Grove Animal Control. She’s believed to be a stock dog mix (possibly Border Collie or Heeler) and is around 12 to 14 weeks old. She’s expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult dog.
Josie is an all-around sweetheart! She’s done wonderfully in tests with other dogs, kids, and even cats—making her a total keeper!
-Smart and eager to learn – She already comes when called and walks nicely on a leash.
-Affectionate – She loves belly rubs, walks, and curling up between your feet.
-After spending a couple of tough weeks fending for herself on the streets, Josie is now what we call a “velcro pup”—she wants nothing more than to be by your side every moment of the day. She would love a big family to shower her with affection!
Josie has had her first puppy vaccine, has been dewormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. She will go to her new home microchipped and with a free nutritional package from Urban Dogg!
Adopter requirements:
– Must spay at 6 months old
– Must vaccinate for rabies at 4 months old
