Featured Pet of the Day – “Blue”

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Blue and he sort of has a sad case. -PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!- Blue is currently being fostered with Ozarks Pet Rescue and is still looking for his forever family and home. Blue’s background is not completely known and he is still trying to learn to trust humans. He can be pretty fearful of new people but warms up once he spends time with you.

 

Blue has been bounced from foster to foster for over a couple of months now and he is begging for someone to come rescue him and give him a forever family. OPR says that he would do good with anyone with a high activity level and he loves going on walks. Blue needs someone who is patient with him shyness, who will love him, and interact with him knowing that his history makes it hard for him to trust. Blue loves toys, is super smart, and is sweet with no aggression. Blue loves other dogs but they suggest not to have any chickens or birds. They don’t get along.

—–“I am his current foster mom and I cannot even express how much this beautiful boy wants to please people!! He wants to fit in so incredibly bad, that he is just so unsure of how. We are working on eye contact, something so natural is foreign to him. I can’t even imagine what he has been through. I really don’t think any of it was good, because his fear of men is overwhelming. I do think that if he bonds with anyone, he will fight for you. He needs his person, his forever person! I would be more than happy to help him transition. Please give this beautiful soul a chance.”—
