Good morning and happy Thursday. Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Milo. Milo is a 5-year-old Smooth Collie mix waiting for a home at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. He is extremely intelligent and has mastered the ability to understand and master commands, including ‘sit’. Milo is already housetrained, walks well on a leash, and does great in car rides. This happy-go-lucky boy loves to meet friends, is loyal, sweet, friendly, and can win over almost anything. He loves being a pet and will come up to you when he wants attention! He’s not shy at all, and Milo’s gentle demeanor makes him a perfect companion for children. He’s calm and very well-mannered. 
Milo loves some canine friends he’s encountered and isn’t as fond of others, so they recommend a meet and greet with any dogs you already own just to ensure they’ll be a good fit in their new home.
