Mountain View, MO. – One 17-year-old female was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on the night of Tuesday, March 19th.
Investigation on this crash was performed by Trooper J.M. Kenyon of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.

This crash took place on Highway Y, four miles north of Mountain View at roughly 10:50pm. The driver in this accident was listed as an unidentified, 17-year-old female who was driving a Chevy Silverado. The teen driver traveled off the right side of the roadway and then struck a tree.
The vehicle was totaled in the accident, and the juvenile was not wearing a safety device. Her injuries were listed as serious, and air ambulances services were called to transport her to Mercy in Springfield.
