Press Release from Texas County Sheriff Scott Lindsey:
On July 25, 2026, Texas County deputies responded to a residence on Hog Creek Road, in the Houston area for a domestic disturbance. A female subject reported that the suspect had picked her up at a business in Cabool and they traveled to Raymondville. The victim reported while in the vehicle a male identified as Clarence Hall punched and choked her. The victim was eventually able to exit the vehicle and returned to the residence on Hog Creek Road. The victim reported that Hall came to the residence and again punched and choked her. Deputies observed visible injuries to the victim consistent with an assault. The suspect Clarence Hall was interviewed and admitted to causing the victim’s injuries and choking her. Deputies arrested Hall and transported him to the Texas County Jail.
Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Parke Stevens charged Clarence Hall, age 34, of Houston with Domestic Assault 2nd degree. Hall was incarcerated in the Texas County Jail pending a $5,000 cash only bond per Judge Ellsworth.
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
