Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports the arrest of JEREMIAH WAYNE SELFRIDGE, 28 YOA, of Yellville, and CHRISTINA DIANNE SELFRIDGE, 43 YOA, on charges of Rape, a Class “Y” Felony, Kidnapping, a Class “Y” Felony, Sexual Assault 2nd Degree, a Class “B” Felony, Domestic Battery 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, and Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from an investigation into allegations reported by an eighteen (18) year old female victim. On 07/16/26, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Investigators interviewed the victim who stated the abuse began approximately four (4) months after her seventeenth birthday in December of 2024 and continued until the first week of July in 2026. On 7/22/26, Investigator’s served a search warrant at the SELFRIDGE residence. Both suspects were taken into custody, and a search of the residence and property was conducted. During the search, items of evidence consistent with the victim’s allegations were seized.
JEREMIAH SELFRIDGE is a convicted felon and Level III sex offender registered with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
JEREMIAH SELFRIDGE is charged with five (5) counts of Rape, a Class “Y” Felony, two (2) counts of Kidnapping, a Class “Y” Felony, five (5) counts of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree, a Class “B” Felony, seven (7) counts of Domestic Battery 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, and two (2) counts of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor. Due to SELFRIDGE’S past criminal history and the violent nature of the current allegations, he is currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center (MCDC) without bond pending his initial appearance in the Marion County Circuit Court.
CHRISTINA SELFRIDGE is charged with one (1) count of Rape, a Class “Y” Felony, one (1) count of Kidnapping, a Class “Y” Felony, one (1) count of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree, a Class “B” Felony, seven counts of Domestic Battery 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, and one (1) count of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, with a bond set at $500,000.00.
